Spill Games, a Bengaluru-based mobile gaming startup, has secured $3.1 million in seed funding to accelerate its ambition of building a systems-led global gaming company from India. The funding round was led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital, reflecting growing investor confidence in India’s rapidly expanding casual gaming ecosystem. Founded in 2024 by Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan, and Harsh Garg, Spill Games is taking a differentiated approach in mobile gaming by focusing on repeatable systems, data-driven execution, and portfolio scaling rather than depending on a single blockbuster title. The company aims to industrialize game creation through internal technology and faster iteration cycles. At the center of its strategy is Compass, Spill’s proprietary in-house engine and tooling layer designed to streamline analytics, monetisation, retention, and live operations. This allows the company to move from concept to launch significantly faster than traditional studios while improving capital efficiency during the testing phase. Spill Games currently operates in the casual and puzzle gaming segment with titles such as Cozy Finds, Sticker by Number, and Zen Math Crossword. Several of its live games have already demonstrated positive unit economics, showing early validation of the startup’s portfolio-first business model. The newly raised capital will be used to expand its live gaming portfolio, deepen the internal technology stack, hire selectively across teams, and test more than 20 new prototypes over the next 18 months. Spill’s broader goal is to build a diversified portfolio of 5 to 10 profitable titles for global audiences. As global mobile gaming revenue continues to rise, Spill Games represents a new generation of Indian gaming startups building for international markets through operational excellence, rapid experimentation, and scalable technology.
