Copenhagen-based fintech startup Spektr has raised $20 million in a Series A funding round led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA), highlighting growing investor confidence in AI-driven compliance infrastructure for financial services. The round also saw participation from existing investors Northzone, Seedcamp, and PSV Tech, bringing the company’s total funding to nearly $26 million. Founded in 2023 by repeat entrepreneurs, Spektr is building an AI-powered compliance platform designed to eliminate the manual and time-intensive processes that dominate financial compliance workflows. The company combines configurable workflows with networks of specialized AI agents that perform tasks such as document verification, ownership mapping, and risk analysis work traditionally handled by human analysts.
