Space analytics firm HawkEye 360 has raised $416 million in its US initial public offering, selling 16 million shares at $26 apiece — the top of its targeted $24 to $26 range — giving the company a valuation of roughly $2.42 billion. The company plans to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "HAWK." Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets, Jefferies, and BofA Securities served as lead underwriters, with underwriters also granted a 30-day option to purchase up to 2.4 million additional shares. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, HawkEye 360 specialises in signal intelligence and radio frequency analytics, using a constellation of more than 30 satellites to detect, locate, and analyse RF emissions around the world. Its technology is used primarily by defence, intelligence, and national security agencies to monitor communications, maritime activity, and other strategic signals, with the US government and allied nations accounting for the bulk of its revenue. In December 2025, HawkEye expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of ISA, deepening its expertise in signal processing and classified intelligence systems while strengthening existing ties with US agencies. The listing arrives amid renewed momentum in the US IPO market and growing investor interest in defence technology and space-based intelligence. Analysts see HawkEye's debut as a test of appetite for space-tech offerings more broadly, as the market also awaits a potential public filing from SpaceX — which could further encourage peers to pursue listings.
