Fertility and at-home diagnostics startup Inito has secured $29 million in a Series B funding round, led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII) with strong participation from existing backer Fireside Ventures and other strategic supporters, bringing the company’s total funding to approximately $45 million. The capital will be used to accelerate the growth of Inito’s AI-powered at-home diagnostics platform and to develop AI-engineered antibodies that enable broader, highly sensitive health testing beyond fertility. Founded in 2021 by co-founders Aayush Rai and Varun AV, Inito initially gained traction with its quantitative fertility hormone monitor that measures key biomarkers including FSH, estrogen, luteinizing hormone (LH) and PdG - on a single test strip and uses artificial intelligence to interpret hormonal patterns, predict fertile windows, and confirm ovulation. In addition to expanding output and global reach, the Series B financing will help Inito evolve into a comprehensive at-home hormone and health diagnostics platform capable of tracking a broader range of biomarkers. The company’s use of computational protein design — generating synthetic antibodies via AI rather than conventional animal-based methods — aims to produce more sensitive and consistent reagents for next-generation tests.
