Estonian freight-tech company MyDello, a digital freight forwarding platform for international shipments, has raised €3.1 million in new funding to accelerate its international expansion, beginning with the UK market where customers will be able to use the platform from December. The capital will also support deeper integration of AI into the company’s systems, with the aim of automating most shipment operations by the end of 2026. MyDello’s platform replaces traditional manual forwarding processes by allowing businesses to instantly price, route, book and manage freight online across all modes of transport- air, sea, rail and road through a single digital interface. It leverages agreements with more than 400 carrier partners, and offers real-time tracking and data-driven tools that bring greater transparency and efficiency to international logistics. The investment round was led by Icelandic venture capital firm Frumtak Ventures, with participation from Superhero Capital, a Finnish early-stage VC. Andri Heiðar Kristinsson (General Partner at Frumtak Ventures) and Jevgeni Kabanov (President of mobility unicorn Bolt and previous MyDello investor) have joined MyDello’s board, bringing additional strategic expertise to support growth. Founded in 2021 in Tallinn by logistics and tech veterans Magnus Lepasalu, Joel Timm and Siimu Kaas, MyDello serves B2B customers in sectors such as manufacturing, wholesale and e-commerce. Co-founder and CEO Joel Timm said the fresh funding and board additions will help MyDello modernise an industry still dominated by manual processes and fragmented visibility, and bring increased automation and streamlined logistics to global freight forwarding operations.
