London-based Concept Ventures has announced the launch of its second dedicated pre-seed fund, raising $88 million to support founders building at the earliest stage of their startup journey. The fund — the UK’s largest independent pre-seed vehicle — will focus on investing in founders at the idea and prototype stage across sectors including AI, fintech, deeptech, and consumer technology. Founded by Reece Chowdhry , Concept Ventures has built a strong reputation for spotting and supporting emerging founders before institutional capital arrives. The new fund, referred to as Concept Fund II , attracted backing from a diverse set of investors including Aldea Ventures , Top Tier Capital Partners , Marktlink Capital , Dominus , and Granite Capital Management , as well as notable individual LPs such as Mati Staniszewski , co-founder and CEO of ElevenLabs . Concept Ventures’ team - including Oliver Kicks , Jeff Chowdhry , Ariel Rahamim , Gloria Yu , Nic Tresegnie , and Lauren Sauerland — will continue the firm’s hands-on approach, providing founders with early capital, mentorship, and access to a strong operator network.
