415 Capital Launches €150 Million Second Fund for Medical Innovation

Munich-based 415 Capital Management GmbH has announced the launch of its second fund, 415 Capital Fund II, targeting €150 million ($165 million) to support breakthrough medical technologies. The fund will focus on innovations addressing cardiovascular and neurovascular diseases, which are leading causes of death and disability worldwide. The fund has already secured commitments from prominent investors, including the European Investment Fund, KfW Capital, and Wachstumsfonds Deutschland. The final close is expected by the end of Q1 2025. 415 Capital has also appointed Azin Parhizgar, PhD, and Ruben Osnabrugge, MD, PhD, to its Investment Committee, strengthening its leadership team. Frederik Groenewegen, Co-Founder and General Partner, expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the firm by limited partners. The company, which specializes in medical technology investments across Europe, the U.S., and Israel, manages nearly $200 million in assets. Its portfolio companies have attracted over €600 million in follow-on financing, with notable investments including Supira Medical, R3 Vascular, and CorFlow. 415 Capital's global network and partnerships with renowned hospitals and research institutions provide strategic support to its portfolio companies, whose products are now used to treat hundreds of thousands of patients annually.
