London-based Archestra, founded by Matvey Kukuy (CEO), Ildar Iskhakov (CTO), and Joey Orlando, raised £2.44m led by Concept Ventures with Zero Prime Ventures, Celero Ventures, RTP Global, Aloniq, and angels. The trio moved from Singapore, Israel, and Canada and previously built Amixr (exited to Grafana in 2021). Archestra’s open‑source platform adds security layers for safely connecting AI agents to internal data sources, leveraging Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) while addressing MCP’s current enterprise unsuitability. The company targets the iPaaS market projected to exceed $17bn by 2028, aiming to help both engineers and non-technical teams integrate AI into workflows securely and at scale. Investors cite MCPs as emerging “connective tissue” for enterprise AI context, positioning Archestra as the needed infrastructure layer.
